God blesses us in extraordinary ways! This week he has simply overwhelmed us!!
On Monday, Dave finally went to pick out his frames for his new glasses prescription (he hasn't had a new one in 6 years). We've been putting it off for a while because, as those of you who wear glasses know, they are quite pricey! We do have coverage through work but it is very minimal. So anyway, we finally decided we couldn't put it off any longer (since Dave is virtually blind at night) and took the plunge, the financial one that is, and ordered they eye wear not really having the cash in hand.
Then the unexpected happened ...
On Wednesday we received a stamped, but un-postmarked envelope in the mail. Inside was a card, unsigned, with $100 cash inside. An anonymous surprise blessing!
But that's not all. Today we received our income tax cheques back from the government. When we looked at the statements we found that we actually qualified and received an extra several hundred dollars back that we had not claimed. Another blessing!
So is this all a coincidence?
The anonymous cash gift, the extra amount received from our income tax, plus the amount we receive back through our medical coverage is almost exactly the amount needed to cover the cost of Dave's glasses. Yeah it could be coincidence, but we know better ;)

Praise God! Our God is a God of miracles and perfect timing. We have so much to thank our Lord for each day.
Look forward to seeing the new eye-wear Dave (or you seeing me, whatever the case may be:)
Chris
That's awesome!
What a cool story - you hear those kinds of things so much, but not always someone you actually *know*!
(And just for the record....I will very happily cheer for any Canadian team (except calgary) once the Oilers are out. So we can still get along! ;)
