I found a neat site through our friend Kelly called www.yearbookyourself.com. It allows you to download a picture of yourself and put it on various yearbook mug shots through the decades. This is what Dave and I supposedly could have looked like in the year 1956. I think we still make a cute couple :)

Giddy Up!

Cole's new thing is that he loves to bounce. He gets absolutely giddy if you jump up and down with him in his arms. So much so that when you stop he keeps trying to thrust himself out of your arms ... its his way of telling us he wants more.

So on our trip to Edmonton this weekend we bought him a Jumperoo ... A "Galloping Fun Jumperoo" from Fisher Price to be exact. We put him in it at the store (Babies R Us) and he probably would have been content to stay there all day. Of course we needed another piece of bulky baby equipment like we needed a shot to the head, but it has quickly become his favourite.

How do I know? Well, usually when Cole starts to get tired of any piece of equipment or just tired in general, he starts to get whiny and eventually cries. Not so in the Jumperoo. He loves his horsey so much that he just begins to yawn and suck his thumb right there while trying to get enough energy for another jump or two.

Definitely a good buy despite the decreased size of my dinning area. Definitely has saved my arms from hours of burning bouncing my 18 pound son.

Cole At 5 Months

In all the excitement of us buying a vehicle, Cole turned 5 months old on Saturday. To celebrate I weighed and measured him for his baby book. Our "little" guy is now 17 and a half pounds and 27 inches. New accomplishments include almost rolling over and as of Sunday - deciding to stay awake for about a half hour longer almost regularly. As always, Cole is very, very cute!
