Our New Ride!!!

On friday Dave hitched a ride to Sherwood Park with our friend Wes to look at a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica we'd been looking at online through a dealership. We had decided that this was the type of vehicle we wanted to buy and this one seemed to be in great shape, and have more than we wanted at the right price. We had seen plenty of pictures and had talked back and forth with a wonderful sales person but of course we needed to check it out in person.

To make a long story short we bought it after Dave test drove it. We've only had it a couple of days and we already love it. Our Honda Civic has been a great vehicle but it was getting cosy and laborious taking the car seat in and out having to always pull the seats forward and my knees nearly hitting the dash. Cole was also roasting in the back from the sun and lack of air conditioning. The Pacifica has solved all these problems and has plenty of extras like seating for 6, a sunroof, auto EVERYTHING, CD and DVD player, heated seats and leather.

It's official ...we have purchased "the family vehicle".

Why I Love The Exersaucer

Cole loves his Exersaucer. He gets bored of just laying on the floor these days and loves to stand and explore the world from a different angle. He entertains himself, he's happy and I get lots done.

He's also formula fed and has struggled with constipation for months. The Exersaucer seems to help this problem as well. I don't think this was an intended selling feature ... but it sure is a bonus.

The only person who loves the Exersaucer more than Cole, is his mom.

So Close!

Cole is super close to rolling over these days. He twists around to grab toys and ends up in many "almost there" positions. At one point today he managed to get from his back to his stomach ... but I think he used the side of our friends' trunk/coffee table as leverage. I'll let you know when I'm condident he actually made this achievement without any props :)
